Anna Hellner in Zürich

This Friday, DOMINO-CLIMATE project PhD student, Anna Hellner, gave us a talk on her experience at ETH Zürich, where she spent two months with Professor Cindy de Jonge to learn lipid biomarker analysis. Anna prepared Holocene lake sediment samples form Lake Latoritei (Romnaia, Parang Mts) and Lake Prokoško (Bosnia-Herzegovina, Vranica Mountains) to study mid-Holocene climate change and its possibel role in the Neolithic collapse in East-Central Europe. We are near to interpret the first gdgt results and discuss n-alkenes from Lake Latoritei!
