Chironomid-based summer temperature reconstruction in the South Carpathian Mountains over the last 2000 years

Colleagues from our department have submitted an article to The Holocene journal describing the results of the July mean temperature reconstruction based on chironomids for the past 2000 years. Their sampling site was Lake Latoritei (Pareng Mountains Group, Southern Carpathians, Romania), where they sampled a 58 cm sediment core. Multiproxy analyses were performed on this core to obtain information on climate and landscape changes in the region over the last 2000 years. They hope that the full work will soon be available to all.
