Our PhD student traveled to Zurich
2025.02.18.

At the beginning of this year, our PhD student traveled to Zurich to analyze her sediment samples. Anna Hellner is researching climate changes in the Holocene period with GDGT proxy. Her samples were collected from two alpine lakes: Lake Latoritei, RO, and Lake Prokosko, BA. She is working with Professor Cindy De Jonge and her team at ETH Zurich. She is staying there for two months to gain experience and knowledge in successfully preparing and separating lipid biomarkers in her samples using HPLC.
