2024.03.04.
On the last day of the conference Alexandra Anders, Gabriella Darabos, and Máté Róbert Merkl visited the Copper Age tell settlement of Sultana-Malu Rosu located in southeast Romania, belonging to the Gumelnița culture. It is the most spectacular archaeological site in the country, whose archaeological excavation started 100 years ago. The Romanian archaeologist Theodor Ignat gave us a tour of the site and reported on the results of the excavations carried out in recent years.
