Winners of the Bolyai Scholarship
2024.06.12.
Every year, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences announces the research grant named after János Bolyai, which aims to encourage and recognise young researchers with outstanding research and development achievements. We are delighted to report that this year's winners include two distinguished lecturers from the Institute of Geography and Earth Sciences. While Attila Virág, assistant professor in the Department of Petrology and Geochemistry, submitted a successful proposal in the field of paleontology, Ákos Bede-Fazekas, assistant professor in our department, won the scholarship with his proposal in the field of ecology. We congratulate the winners and wish them all the best for the successful completion of their three-year research projects!
